Brabbag Fuels Ltd was established in 2008 to supply quality Kiln Dried Logs & Briquettes on the Isle of Man. With the arrival of Corona Virus in 2020 the service has been expanded to include basic groceries – including the best of Manx produce wherever possible. The service operates on a multi drop round system. The van will generally be in your area on at least two mornings a week (we’re aiming for at least once before 8am). Thank you for supporting Manx!

In 2008 we were the first people to import Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs and Fuel Briquettes to the Isle of Man. Since then we’ve tried and sold a variety of different logs & briquettes. The range we currently sell are the products that have been the most consistent in terms of quality and value for money.

If you burn damp or unseasoned wood you are wasting heat (and so money) evaporating water. You’re also damaging your fire / chimney with excess tar build up – which also increases the risk of chimney fire. All our fuel is guaranteed dry and ready to burn upon delivery unless stated otherwise.

Briquettes are generally drier and more dense than natural logs, and so offer more heat output per £pound. They are made using pressure – which forms them using the lignin in the wood only – no glues or binders. Briquettes are so dry they must be stored somewhere dry – even if in bags.

Our Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs are usually a varying mix of Ash, Oak, Beech, Sycamore and Hornbeam. They are approximately 10” / 25cm in length and are generally so dry you won’t need kindling. They come in plastic bags – 40x60cm when flat. Guaranteed below 20% moisture on delivery. Store under cover.

I believe we offer the best prices locally. The more I can deliver in one drop the more efficient the round becomes.
